Welcome to our resource aimed at encouraging a better understanding of real life applied sciences in the context of environmental sciences.
We all have a passion for science and teaching, by collaborating and combining our ideas and knowledge, we have created for you this inclusive and engaging resource.
Every activity is carefully designed around the work of Dr. Prue Francis, who is introduced in more detail on the home page. By utilising her real life research of the seaweed species Hormosira Banksii, we have developed a sequence of activities which interrelate, with the intention of showing you that science is not just lab coats and laboratories and that seaweed really does matter.
